Parks Overview

Serengeti National Park is famous for the Great Migration, where over 1.5 million wildebeest and 250,000 zebras move across its vast plains. It covers about 14,750 km² in northern Tanzania. It's a UNESCO World Heritage Site and has won multiple awards like Africa’s Leading National Park. The park is rich in wildlife, including lions, cheetahs, elephants, leopards, and rhinos. it was established in 1951 to protect the incredible migration and ecosystem. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area, is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera. It’s home to about 25,000 animals, including black rhinos, elephants, lions, and hippos. This UNESCO World Heritage Site spans roughly 8,292 km², with the crater floor itself covering 260 km². Found in the Crater Highlands of northern Tanzania, it was formed millions of years ago and officially became a conservation area in 1959, combining wildlife protection with the presence of local Maasai communities. Tarangire National Park is known for its massive elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. Covering around 2,850 km², it lies south of Lake Manyara in northern Tanzania. The park hosts thousands of elephants, along with giraffes, lions, leopards and over 550 bird species. Though less visited than Serengeti or Ngorongoro, it’s a hidden gem recognized for seasonal animal migrations. It was declared a national park in 1970. Lake Manyara National Park is a compact but biodiverse park located along the Great Rift Valley in northern Tanzania. it covers about 330 km². The park is famous for its tree climbing lions, large troops of baboons, flamingos and elephants. It’s also designated a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. Established in 1960, the park protects various habitats from groundwater forests to alkaline lakeshores.

Safari Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO)
Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), 
 your driver guide will be waiting to welcome you. After a brief about the next day’s itinerary and safari orientation, you'll be comfortably transferred to your hotel. Enjoy a relaxing overnight stay at Kili Villa.

 

Day 2 : Tarangire National Park

After breakfarst, you will be picked up and drive for about two hours to the renowned Tarangire National Park. Famous for its large herds of elephants and majestic, centuries old baobab trees and some of the largest in Africa, Tarangire offers an unforgettable wildlife experience. As you explore the park in a safari vehicle with an open roof, you'll encounter sweeping savannas, seasonal swamps and the Tarangire River, which attracts a rich variety of wildlife. Keep your eyes peeled for giraffes, impalas, zebras, lions, leopards, elands, warthogs and countless bird species.

As the day winds down, you will be transfered to your lodge, where you can relax and enjoy a delicious dinner before settling in for the night.

Day 3 & 4 : Serengeti National Park

​After breakfast, set off for Serengeti National Park. Descend from the highlands into the endless savannas of the Serengeti , the heart of wild Africa and the home to millions of fauna and flora. Arrive in the afternoon and enjoy an exciting game drive en route to your lodge, offering your first glimpse of the park’s stunning landscapes and iconic wildlife.

Day Two begins with exhilarating morning and afternoon game drives, where you’ll witness the magic of the Serengeti up close from roaming herds of wildebeest to stealthy predators on the hunt.

For an even deeper experience, consider these unforgettable optional activities:

  • Visit a traditional Maasai village and immerse yourself in the vibrant culture of one of Africa’s most fascinating tribes.

  • Take to the skies with a balloon safari. Launching at sunrise, you'll gently float above the golden plains as the landscape comes to life beneath you, an adventure that offers panoramic views and moments you'll never forget

 

Day 5 & 6 : Ngorongoro Crater 

After breakfast, you’ll journey toward the breathtaking, world-famous Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area (NCCA). This breathtaking region boasts sweeping plains, shimmering lakes, dramatic craters, misty mountains and dormant volcanoes. All part of a truly diverse and unforgettable landscape.

Along the way, you'll stop at the legendary Olduvai Gorge, often referred to as the Cradle of Mankind. This remarkable archaeological site is one of the most significant in the world, offering a fascinating glimpse into early human history.

Day 6 ,  descent into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for a full day of extraordinary game viewing. Revered as the eighth wonder of the world, this UNESCO World Heritage Site is a living Eden a self contained ecosystem untouched by time. Inside the crater’s towering walls, over 25,000 large mammals roam freely across its plains, lakes, and forests. Among them, you'll find powerful bull elephants, elusive black rhinos, and majestic lions, the rulers of this ancient, primeval landscape known as "the land that time forgot."

Day 7 : Departure 

The morning will be thoughtfully arranged to give you time to explore the city, pick up some souvenirs and collect a few last memories for your family and friends before your departure.

Afterwards, you’ll be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your flight home or if your journey continues, you'll head off to the pristine beaches of Zanzibar Island for a relaxing tropical escape.
