Cheichei Zanzibar Tours and Safari is fully registered (by Registrar of Firms) and licensed by Zanzibar Commission for Tourism (Tourism board) to operate tours across Zanzibar and safaris throughout Tanzania. Since 2012, we have been successfully organizing personalized tours and unforgettable safari experiences.

Our dedicated team includes professional tour guides who speak English, Swahili, Spanish, German, Italian and French, ensuring you feel at home wherever your journey takes you.

 

​​​A little about the word Cheichei..... "Cheichei" is a Swahili word which means "Hello" / "How are you doing..!" Traditionally, it was used to greet elders. Now, the greeting is almost forgotten and replaced with "Mambo / Jambo" which is slang for "Whats up?"/ "How are things?" Not wanting to lose/forget this beautiful Zanzibar greeting, we decided to adopt the name for our business Cheichei Zanzibar Tours and Safari!
