  To the north of the island is the Mnarani Conservation Pond which is a large tidal pool excavated out of coral rock to accommodate rescued turtles. Here, you can view and learn about the turtles at close range Or

  If you would like to get into the water, we can visit Baraka Aquarium or Zanzibar Aquarium which are small ponds with a large number of rescued turtles. All the aquariums mentioned are located in Nungwi. The tour can either be done in the morning or afternoo. The departure time from hotel depends on it's location.
